Dr. Cruz-Noguez’s expertise is in the analysis and design of masonry and reinforced concrete structures, innovative materials, large-scale testing, and nonlinear modelling. He has participated in several multi-hazard assessment and historic rehabilitation projects in Canada and the U.S. He is a voting member of the TMS 402 Committee for Masonry Structures and ACI 440-H(fibre-reinforced polymer structures), and is the current MCAA Chair in Masonry Structures at the UofA.
